            <p>Last year, <a href="http://aragonaseattle.com/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">Aragona</a>'s Christopher Tanghe became one of only 211 sommeliers in the entire world to have earned the elite title of <a href="http://www.mastersommeliers.org/Pages.aspx/About-CMS-Overview?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">Master Sommelier</a>.  Less than a year later, Tanghe has been honored again — as one of Food and Wine Magazine's <a href="http://www.foodandwine.com/blogs/2014/3/10/announcing-food-and-wine-2014-sommeliers-of-the-year?xid=blog_20140310_19797824&ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">Sommeliers of the Year</a>. Seattle food writer Rebekah Denn reminds us that while best-of lists may seem ubiquitous, Food and Wine's designations are "<a href="http://blogs.seattletimes.com/allyoucaneat/2014/03/10/seattle-wine-master-is-sommelier-of-the-year/?ref=dev.cascadepbs.org">curated with care and considered a career milestone</a>."  Tanghe, who is in his early thirties and serves as Aragona's wine director, began studying to be a Master Sommelier before his 21st birthday. — C.H.</p>
